Our 3 Current Must-Have Items for Our Hair
It has been months since we have stepped foot inside a salon due to quarantine and our hair is FEELING it. Now more than ever, I am appreciating good quality hair products, and helpful tools to keep my hair looking decent and healthy instead of distressed and damaged.
The following products were given to us by our Winter accessory partner KITSCH and we just can’t get enough!
Satin Pillow Case
Satin (or silk if you are fancy like that) Pillow Cases are the # 1 must have in my opinion. I would rather someone purchase one of these than a high-end blow dryer- that’s how much of a game changer they are! Satin pillow cases will:
-reduce frizz and bedhead
-reduce breakage caused by hair rubbing on other rough fibrous pillow cases
- reduce wrinkling in your skin
- better for oil production in your skin
Shampoo Brush & Scalp Exfoliator
This tool is great for those with extra oil and buildup, or for those with dry and flaky scalps! It's really important to always keep your scalp exfoliated and stimulated for optimal hair growth. Not to mention it feels really, really good massaging your scalp with the bristles. Use the tool to rub your shampoo into your scalp. it's great to use it as a detangling brush when you condition your hair as well!
*Don’t forget though that conditioner is not meant to be rubbed into your scalp.*
Luxe Shower Cap
Because who really wants to wash their hair every day? (Def not me)
If you are someone who gets frustrated with ruined hair styles after their body shower, then you definitely need to be using a shower cap! This will protect your hair from any moisture caused by droplets getting on your hair, and from steam.
Shower caps have come a long way from the plastic bonnet ones- this one is chic AF.

The first step in leveling up your hair game is to find out your true hair type (Not the hair type you had 10 years ago, 5 years ago, or even last year) You need to know your hair type is right now.
